Traci Thayne Corbett loves to paint and draw everything, but once she moved to Gloucester in 2001, the ocean took over. She applies her bold style to rippling water and tangles of fishing nets - as well as landscapes and portraits. Her work highlights dramatic brushwork with a sense of emotion and movement.
Traci earned her BFA from Clark University, and has continued her studies with Steve Forster, Mark Hayden, Daniel Green and Alyssa Monks. She is a juried member of both the Rockport and North Shore Art Associations. She paints “en plein air” as well as in the studio, finding each offers unique 0pportunities for growth and enjoyment.
Additionally, Traci is the Executive Director of Cape Ann Art Haven and a board member for Cape Ann Plein Air. She lives in Gloucester, MA with her husband & daughter & their dog :)
