On Thursday, Oct 12th our 38 Cape Ann Plein Air artists will descend onto Bearskin Neck, Rockport. Come and watch, enjoy dinner at one of the downtown restaurants and enjoy this popular public art event!

In addition, six Cape Ann Plein Air 2023 artists are participating in  the Rockport Art Association and Museum’s National Exhibition this year!  This high-level show of art from all over the country is open from September 30 to November 5, 2023.

Be sure to stop by to see the show, including paintings by CAPA 2023 artists, David Bareford, John Caggiano, Susan Lynn, Ann Larsen, Jonathan McPhillips, and Charles Newman.

Our event also matches with the RAA&M National Exhibition, so you can enjoy both at once. On October 12, come to Rockport from 5 to 9 pm for a night of nocturne painting. Our artists will paint the night scene in their own ways. The RAA&M National Exhibition will be open and have refreshments all night.
