Please join us on Thursday, August 28th at The Emerson Inn, Rockport, for a unique evening that pairs dining with the artistry of artist Chris Plunkett.

Chris Plunkett began oil painting as an undergraduate at Plymouth State University, NH, and has continued his studio practice for over 20 years since. His work merges impressionistic realism with narrative, his subjects true to his life and journey.  

Chris earned a Masters Degree in Art Education from Boston University in 2013, and has taught visual art in Boston Public Schools for over 15 years.  He exhibits his work frequently in and around Boston.  His studio is located in Dorchester, MA.

Chris has participated in Cape Ann Plein Air Paint Outs and community events, winning third place at the Cape Ann Plein Air Schooner Festival 2024 Paint Out and third place at the Sunset Paint Out on the Neck as a part of Discover Gloucester's Culture Splash, partnered with Cape Ann Art Haven & Rocky Neck Art Colony.

Plunkett is a core member of Fountain Street Gallery in Boston's SOWA district.
